Beveled Slate Sign – House Number And Road Name – we know that sometimes just a house number isn’t enough – that’s why this beveled edge slate house sign has been designed to include any house number and name.
Included as standard is our deep engraving service. Your house number and street name will be deep engraved into the slate house sign and then hand-painted in a colour of your choice; white, metallic silver or metallic gold. We also offer the optional extra of having your lettering gilded in 24.5ct Gold. All of the paints used in making your slate house sign are specialist sign writers paints – made especially for external use.
Your Slate House Sign will be made using 10mm thick, rustic riven slate. The surface of the slate sign has a rustic riven surface which may demonstrate different shades of grey or black as well as different patters and textures. Your Slate address plaque will also be finished with a deep beveled, polished edge finish – this helps create a beautiful contrast between the natural characteristics of the slate and also the pristine, sleek finished edging.

Slate is a natural stone which makes our natural slate house signs very hard wearing. The house number and street names signs are also deep engraved – so you don’t need to worry about your text fading away or diming when the sign gets wet (unlike laser engraved slate). The paints used in the process of making our slate signs are also specialist paints – so you don’t need to worry about the paint fading either! We’ve been making slate signs for over 25 years so have vast experience in making long lasting, beautiful slate house signs.
