Included as standard is our deep engraving service. Your business name and/or logo will be deep engraved into the beveled slate sign and then hand-painted in a colour of your choice; white, metallic silver or metallic gold. We also offer the optional extra of having your lettering gilded in 24.5ct Gold. All of the paints used in making your slate business sign are specialist sign writers paints – made especially for external use. We do also offer the option of colour matching your business logo onto your new business sign! (*some exclusions may apply).
Your slate business sign will be made using 10mm thick, rustic riven slate. The surface of the slate sign has a rustic riven surface which may demonstrate different shades of grey or black as well as different patters and textures. Your Slate sign will also be finished with a deep beveled, polished edge finish – this helps create a beautiful contrast between the natural characteristics of the slate and also the pristine, sleek finished edging.

The house number and street names signs are also deep engraved – so you don’t need to worry about your text fading away or diming when the sign gets wet (unlike laser engraved slate). The paints used in the process of making our slate signs are also specialist paints – so you don’t need to worry about the paint fading either!
