As standard, your house number will be deep engraved into the surface of the slate sign. Once deep engraved, we then hand paint your house sign in your chosen colour; white, silver or gold. You can even choose to have your slate house number gilded in 24.5ct gold; to really make your slate house sign a statement piece.
Our 20mm thick slate house signs are made using a polished slate – once we cut your slate sign, we polish the edges and hone the surface of the slate to leave it with a beautifully looking, smooth and tactile finish.
Slate is a natural stone which means that your house number will be very hardwearing. Due to your slate house number being a natural product, the slate may have varying patterns or lines running through its core – all which helps add to the natural beauty! There may be some colour variation in-between signs too.
We make all of our slate signs in-house; from cutting the slate, engraving the signs and even hand painting them – all is done in our Kent based workshop – this way, we can ensure the quality that you would expect.
Your 20mm thick slate house number will come with 2 pre-holed screw holes (unless requested otherwise) and will include two screws with two screw caps. We supply silver/white lettered signs with flat polished chrome fixings as standard and gold lettered signs with polished brass fixings.
