Mahogany is a hardwood meaning that it is strong, durable and hard-wearing, therefore, making it perfect for outdoor use for a memorial. All of the wood used for our mahogany memorial cross is sourced from sustainable and FSCS approved sources as sustainability is a key for us here at Snobs Signs.
The plaque used on this wood tree stake is a UV protected and weather resistant, brass-effect plaque. Unlike brass, this material won’t tarnish over the years. This material is becoming more common in the memorial field due to the value of brass meaning that it is often stolen to be sold. The plaque has the same visual appeal as a brushed brass plaque and often can’t be told apart until you touch it!
